There ain’t many things the Valley that pack as much old school cool as the Furious Styles Crew, as the renowned b-boy troupe has been kickin’ around town since the heyday of gangsta rap back in the early ’90s.

Ditto for Pete “Supermix” Salaz and Senbad, who are both widely considered to be the godfathers of the DJ scene and have been working the wheels of steel for close to two decades.

So it only seems fitting that the crew chose Salaz and Senbad’s weekly Solstice shindig on Saturday, November 19, as one of the many places to celebrate their 18th anniversary this past weekend.

Solstice’s resident selectas were joined on the decks by Chicago’s DJ Intel while members of the FSC provided some slick moves on the dance floor. Club Candids shot plenty of snapshots during the evening, all of which make up this week’s slideshow.
