It’s a very classy slideshow (for once).
It’s no secret that we are all about hitting some of the scummier places in town for our partying desires but, every once in a while, we crave a nice place that actually has toilet seat covers and more than one stall. So on Friday, October 10th, we decided to class it up a bit at Portland’s for their new DJ night, Soul Social.
With resident DJ Anthony Hart and his weekly special guests, we’re anticipating the free event to be a regular stop off for downtown folks looking to listen to some Jazz/Funk spins while sipping cocktails in actual glass glasses. Last Friday donned a healthy, attractive crowd lounging around the circular bar and eye-effing the person of their choice. Conversations were easily maintained without having to rip out voice boxes. And, even if you have more rowdy intentions for Friday night, Soul Social is the perfect pre-party pit stop.
