The changes to Scottsdale’s night scene just keep on coming. Earlier today, we brought word that tiki spot Drift Lounge was about to blink outta existence. And now, it appears as though another longtime spot is about to get a makeover and a new identity.
Which spot are we referring too? Well, it appears that as of this weekend, Club Forbidden has become a whole new joint called the Vagabond Ballroom.
The erstwhile Anderson’s Fifth Estate is taking on a whole new identity, abandoning its LGBT focus to become more of a general nightspot. The transformation becomes complete later tonight with a grand opening celebration that will feature performance sessions from La La Lust, Super Stereo, The Comeback, and others.
