Mic Controllers JustUs and Deonte of Cut Throat Logic have had a considerable amount of success over the years. Aside from dropping tracks left and right and working with a murderers’ row of hip-hop artists, the group has built up a rabid following in Arizona. While success has been sweet, CTL isn’t ready to take the foot off the pedal just yet.
In six weeks, they’ll be releasing a new video for their next track, “We Own The Night,” a radio single. And although you’ll be hearing it on the airwaves, they want you to know there’s nothing cookie-cutter about their hip-hop. “It’s still underground, we’re still MC’s,” JustUs says. “We’ll still eat another MC’s face without hesitation.”
