Okay, we admit we’re being a tad goofy and over-dramatic with the headline for this post, but it’s nowhere near as goofy as the video we captured in the heart of Tempe near ASU yesterday afternoon.

It’s definately a “WTF!?!” kind of deal: Check it out (with an explanation after the jump):

So what’s the deal? Simple. It’s “Barney,” the costumed mascot for Barney’s Boathouse. For those not in the know, Barney’s is a rather raucous beach-themed college bar located across the street from ASU next door to the Chuckbox burger joint.

Apparently, “Barney” was in a mood to attract some customers and decided to get down to the classic rock and disco tracks that were pumping from the bar’s sound system.
