It’s official: Dispatch will be touring this summer. Indeed, a reunion is in order.
The band made the announcement after an ongoing countdown on their website that ended at midnight on New Years Eve.
Sorry, Phoenix, but they’re not coming here. They will be at Red Rocks though.
Not counting a few gigs here and there, this will be the band’s first U.S. tour in almost 10 years. The six-date national tour will go down in June.
When news happens, Phoenix New Times is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Tickets
go on sale to the public on January 28. Fifty cents of every ticket
sold will be donated to local education programs. The band said that
more community service projects that will take place on the summer tour
will be announced soon.
Better yet, if you help spread the word
about the tour via Twitter or Facebook, you can download all four of the
band’s studio albums for free. Sweet deal!
