To the surprise of an awful lot of people, it turns out that no illegal substances were found in Amy Winehouse’s body.
Furthermore, a drug overdose was not the cause of Winehouse’s unexpected death. However, reports mentioned that alcohol was present in her system, but it is still unclear whether or not it played a role in her death.
Her cause of death is still unclear. A full toxicology report will be wrapped up in late October.
Drugs and alcohol were the first things that came to a lot of people’s minds when news of Amy’s death broke. Considering that she had no drugs in her body, I must say that I’m proud of her– not that it changes the tragic events of her passing.
