Is electro waning in popularity in the Valley? One might think so, given the fact that some of the more popular electro nights, such as Gosh Damn and Party Foul, have blinked out of existence over the past six months. But that hasn’t stopped the promoters of this weekend’s ElectroSelf from spotlighting the musical style during an all-night dance party. They’re booked SoCal electro acts Hyper Crush and the Speaker Junkies for the gig, which goes down on Friday, February 5, as well as a slew of local and visiting spin jockeys, including Hazardous, Constantine, Silent J, Cojami, Matthew Harris, Nemo, Mando, Tonic, and others. Doors open at 8 p.m. and admission is $20 before 9 p.m., $25 afterwards. Call 602-999-7300 for location info on the night of the event.
