When it comes to hot, sweaty, outdoor indie shows, it doesn’t get any better than Conspire. The folks who hang around this downtown cafe collective and performance space are just as colorful as the graffiti-slathered building, and the bands that rock the makeshift stage out back are usually eclectic, under-the-radar, and local.
But on Friday, June 24, Conspire will host some touring bands, namely two groups from Fort Smith, Arkansas: alternative rockers Blurry Photos (who have some hilarious band photos on their Facebook page, including one of the guys shirtless and playing ping-pong), and garage surf outfit TAIFAS.
Ambient electronic acts Ether Teeth and AHIMSA are also on the bill. Check out an MP3 of Ether Teeth’s song “Black and White Movie” and more details about the show after the jump.

Ether Teeth, Blurry Photos, TAIFAS, and AHIMSA are scheduled to perform Friday, June 24, at Conspire, 905 N. Fifth Street. The show starts at 7 p.m. Donations are requested.
