This flier pretty much speaks for itself–but it’s still really bad-arse. Seriously, how many fliers do you see these days with random goopy creatures coming out of sludge-filled ravines? Not many.

The lovely piece of art was created by Mantooth Group promoter Michelle Donovan, who admits she took the most literal approach possible when creating the poster. While the message may not be super-original, the show it is advertising is a special one, since this is hardcore band Swamp Thing‘s first time in Arizona. They’re coming all the way from Virginia and are in the midst of a national tour through July.

They’re joined by local groups Move Forward and Conscience, as well as Colors from California. The all-ages show at The Nile Theatre goes down Wednesday, July 21 at 7 p.m., and tickets are $7.For a peek of what you can expect check out this video of Swamp Thing below. See a hilarious attempt of a stage dive by an audience member around the 6:00 mark and more moshing madness after 14:00.
