It’s still a bit of a deadzone, show-wise, but things really start pickup up next week and by the end of the month we’ve got Willie and Weezy in a three day span. In the meantime, we’re digging Stone Foxes, who come to The Ruby Room Saturday. Their brawny San Francisco psych-blues has all the ballsy riffs of the best Bay band of the decade, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, with some of those scruffy 60s harmoies you’d expect from a band with a poster like the one above. We’ll have a review of the show, so if you miss it check back for that.
