The Modern Leper – Frightened …
Being as economical and as timely as a band can be these days, Frightened Rabbit decided to parlay both those gigs into a tidy North American tour — including a show at the Clubhouse on April 19. They last played Phoenix in June 2008, when their last album, The Midnight Organ Fight, had been released to massive critical acclaim. Their latest album, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, is schedule for release March 9 — just in time for them to conquer America’s interests. Frightened Rabbit will join the likes Beach House, Yeasayer, Deer Tick and The Big Pink — bands that all have Valley dates either before or after their sets at Coachella. So don’t fret if you can’t make it out to Indio — you can still do some good damage with the plethora of Coachella bands playing in Phoenix.
