Here are two big shows that were just announced this week.
Alanis Morissette With Alexi Murdoch Tuesday, November 11, 7:30 p.m. Dodge Theatre $37.50-$60 www.livenation.com
Alanis Morissette’s done a lot over the course of her career, from her 1995 breakout album Jagged Little Pill (which has sold more than 30 million copies to date) to beefing up her acting resume with TV appearances (such as Sex in the City) and stage performances (such as The Vagina Monologues) to her latest studio album, this year’s Flavors of Entanglement. Still, her coup de grace of the last three years remains her YouTube video cover of the Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps,” which proved that not only does the singer still have a stellar set of pipes, but a sense of humor as well.
