With William “Fucking” Reed, the undisputed king of Phoenix hipster dance nights, scheduled to move to NYC, we’re on the lookout for a new Saturday Night Messiah. This is only news to some of you, but DJ Anthony Hart a.k.a HartBreaks has a good shot at claiming that title.
Not that we’re getting out the anointing oils just yet, but, as Factory Made Future reports, the DJ has put out his first “proper mixtape.” I am now reporting that — in addition to being “out” — this pleasantly schizophrenic mix is also “awesome.”
The hour-plus mix was also, apparently, a lot of work. He says: “What a weight off my shoulders! It’s been a long time in the making, almost approaching Chinese Democracy status, but finally here it is.”

I’m sure plenty of people will disagree with/resent this post, but based on what I’m hearing here I’d put some money on the kid. Right now he’s spinning Tuesdays at Lost Leaf, which isn’t a choice night, per se, but this mix shows a lot of potential for bigger things.
