Tempe’s Hoodlums record store and Spraygraphic, an online community of artists and designers founded by two locals present open their latest show “The Lost Album Art” Saturday.

The show, the fourth Hoodlums and Spraygraphic have teamed up for, will run for one month.

It’s high concept and very cool: Spraygraphic solicited contributions from all over the world, telling he artists to grab an old album for a canvas, and whip up the cover for either an amazing album they wish their favorite group would have made or remake a cover for one of the classics.

Live music for the opening party comes from M-Trio, a jazz trio of Hoodlums’ customers who will play throughout the event, which runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hoodlums, on the SW corner of McClintock and Guadalupe. The show is free.
