It’s no secret that musicians often jump in bed with a brand name to help bump up their paychecks. Hell, I’ve seen country music top hat-aficionados Big & Rich in concert — a concert in which they thanked Chevrolet multiple times for being a sponsor. It seems country music and some of America’s more beloved companies make great friends.
Case in point — Rascal Flatts and Hershey’s chocolate joining forces to create bewildering commercials like this. Nothing says country music like making s’mores in someone’s backyard while Rascal Flatts plays their music on a Hershey’s branded guitar.
Want to know if those wacky dudes from the Flatts are gonna bring their chocolate Fender on tour this fall — a tour sponsored by JCPenney? Well, you’re in luck, Rascal Flatts — along with Montgomery Gentry, The Judds, Clay Walker and some other bands that don’t play country music — comprise the newest batch of just announced shows, the rest of which you can find after the jump.
