The folks from the “most Satanic brutal store” in the Valley have recruited great death- and grind-metal bands to pummel Phoenix on April 8 and 9. The lineup’s 19 bands include the elite of Relapse Records, Metal Blade Records and Century Media. Headlining the first night is death king Dying Fetus. Plus, our hometown metalers in Vehemence will be stopping in to show off their new vocalist. But if you can afford only one day of carnage, Saturday is the day to hit up to maximize metal consumption. Day two brings Phobia, Impaled, Repulsion, Engorged, and a few local bands including Burn Victim. As the Oakland boys in Impaled would say, it’s music in a jugular vein.
