NPR’s All Things Considered ran a story about musicians boycotting Arizona over SB 1070 called “Sound Strike’ Targets Arizona Immigration Law” yesterday.
The story includes soundbites from Alycia Klein, the general manager of Celebrity Theatre, local promoter Psyko Steve Chilton, Yolanda Bejarano of Snow Songs and, ahem, me.

It’s also really cool to hear Andrew Jackson Jihad‘s “Lady Liberty,” a song written for our SB 1070 protest record, A Line In The Sand, played on national radio. (The lyric they bleeped, by the way, was “pussy,” since feline qualities are apparently too edgy for NPR.)

A nice touch from Daniel Kraker at Flagstaff’s KNAU, who did the story.
