The Musical Instrument Museum announced the first details of its second annual MIMFest today. Ozomatli, Victor Wooten, Martha Redbone, and more will headline the diverse lineup, which will include local bands as well, such as Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra and the Sugar Thieves.
In total, the two-day festival (Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8) will include more than 20 performing groups representing a wide variety of musical traditions and global cultures. Food trucks, local artists, dancers, and a variety of arts and crafts for kids will be present as well. Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for teens, and $15 for children, and tickets do not include access to the museum. Check out the preliminary lineup below:
