Just when you thought Trey Parker and Matt Stone couldn’t get any more offensive, they did it. According to TwentyFourBit, Parker and Stone are making a Broadway musical about Mormonism.
“Growing up in Colorado, a lot of our friends were Mormons and we always thought their book would make a great musical… We loved Avenue Q and are having a blast working with [Avenue Q composer) Bobby Lopez. Having a show on Broadway is a dream come true for us.”
The musical is set to premiere on Broadway in March of 2011, but there’s already a facebook fan page for it, if you’re interested.
