You know, I feel like there was some song that made a big splash this year about Friday…but…I can’t quite remember it. Must not have been that catchy.

The 10th Annual Joe Strummer Memorial Gig pays tribute to the punk poet with performances by Glass Heroes, The Plainfield Butchers, and more at George & Dragon Pub.
The Rock for Tots benefit at the Compound Grill features a massive lineup: The Black Moods, Strange Young Things, The Persuaders, Jed’s a Millionaire, Mojo Farmers, Quick Henry, Shawn Johnson, Thousand Yard Stare, Tramps and Thieves, and Nameless Prophets.
Sunday, December 11:
