Caliente. Excitado. Divertido. Get to know these Spanish words, because they describe the type of experience you’ll have when you attend a Flamenco Por La Vida performance at the Crescent Ballroom every Saturday night.
The talented flamenco troupe sings, dances and plays music to traditional Spanish flamenco melodies, charming crowds in the lounge area in the process. It’s a perfect time to grab an amazing bite to eat (Crescent has some of the best bean and cheese burritos around) and relax in the lounge area, untouched by whatever rock show is going on next door in the main room.
Pick up a copy of this week’s Phoenix New Times for a feature on the troupe, and head past the jump to see two videos of the dancers in action. Catch them live Saturday’s at Crescent from 6-8 p.m. The show is free.
