While rocker Alice Cooper is bringing a little Christmas puddin’ to the Dodge Theatre tonight, the boys of What Laura Says are spreading holiday cheer all over the Yucca Tap Room at their Christmas formal show.
Formal? Does this mean you have to don dressy duds to the hoppin’ dive? Yes, it is required at the free shindig, and it’s mos def a fun way for you to channel your inner model, as the event will feature a photo station. And, unlike high school, no one at Yucca will judge you if you’re not cool.
The show, which starts at 9 p.m., also features bands Dry River Yacht Club, Matthew Reveles, Mergence and the Liar’s Handshake. Score a free glass of champagne by bringing a can of food for donation.
No word on whether What Laura Says will wear tuxes, but it sure beats a horrible DJ who keeps playing Savage Garden and K-Ci and JoJo.
