This weekend’s show by French composer Yann Tiersen, the man behind the Amélie soundtrack is sort of a weird one for The Venue Scottsdale. Sure, lots of places have concerts like this by chain-smoking French dues who were influenced by the Stooges and Joy Division before turning to classical music and composing music on the accordion, but Arizona is too often not one of them.

So if you like usual shows, check out Yann as he plays here in support of his October album Dust Lane. Tickets are $20 in advance here.
