If the customers who feast on the Arrogant Butcher’s Turkey Sloppy Joe and wash it down with a Miller High Life have anything to say about who will lead the nation’s fifth … er, that is sixth largest city … then the honors will go to former Deputy Attorney General Greg Stanton.
The downtown restaurant is looking for a little “air time” by hosting a straw poll to gauge who is going to be Phoenix’s next mayor (and it’s obviously working). The stunt ends on April 1.
Stanton leads for the second week in a row, as 299 diners have cast their votes for the former councilman. Not a bad climb from the 168 vote he nabbed in the first week.
