Congressional candidate Ben Quayle apparently decided to tell the world how he really feels about President Barack Obama in a new Web ad posted on his Web site this morning.
In the ad, Quayle says, in no uncertain terms, that “Barack Obama is the worst president in history.” He goes on to say somebody needs to “knock the hell” out of Washington.
Given some recent developments in the campaign, we have a feeling Quayle would rather “knock the hell” out of public relations honcho Jason Rose, but Washington might be an acceptable substitute for the 33-year-old candidate.

The ad’s a bit on the lame side — even for a political ad — but it seems Quayle’s using it to show the world his “grrrr” face without going into attack mode.
Quayle’s campaign is yet to really “go negative,” despite being the target of vicious political attacks from several of his GOP primary opponents.
Not that it’s a bad thing to stay out of the slop — to quote Senator John McCain’s favorite Bob Dole, swine-related analogy (the guy’s been using the same Bob Dole quote for, like, three years) “never get into a wrestling match with a pig. You both get dirty — and the pig likes it.”
