Longtime Channel 3 (KTVK-TV) reporter Mike Watkiss has a bit piece in the locally made movie, “Blood Guardian.”
As in, blown to bits. (Or stabbed, rather — see Watkiss’ comment below).
“They dispatch me promptly and effectively,” says Watkiss. He’s been in a few other small-time flicks, he says, enjoying the energy of the young people who make up the state’s “struggling movie-making community.”
You can see a preview of the movie, which was filmed in Phoenix and Superior, on its Web site, or YouTube. Seems like it’s fairly well-done, though probably going straight to the back shelf of a DVD store.
