A 36-year-old man was fatally shot inside a Walmart store in Chandler Sunday after getting into a fight with another customer.
According to Chandler police, it appears that the men didn’t know each other before getting into a dispute at the service counter in the store, near Warner and Alma School roads.

Chandler Police Sergeant Joe Favazzo says Quadlin later told police that he was losing the fight and “was in fear for his life,” so he pulled out a gun and shot Belinte-Chee.
Belinte-Chee was hospitalized but was pronounced dead Sunday evening.
Quadlin was not booked into jail in the case, as police will submit the case for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office to review.
Favazzo says there is video footage of the event, but it won’t be immediately released, as detectives are still reviewing it.
