The Chandler Police Department is looking for a guy who sped off after hitting a man with his car early this morning — an alarming trend here in the Valley of the Sun.
The suspect, according to police, was thrown out of the Draft House Sports Café in Chandler about 1:30 a.m.
After getting the boot, the man jumped in his SUV and ended up driving over a curb and into a cement wall, where another man happened to be sitting.
After hitting the wall (and the victim), a friend of the victim’s attacked the suspect and may have punched out his front driver-side window.

The victim is in stable condition in an area hospital.
The suspect is described as a black male, just over six-feet tall, about 300 pounds, and with a pencil thin beard.
The car is described as a 2003 or 2004 pearl-white Dodge Durango with 22-inch chrome rims with thin wall tires. The bottom (rocker panel area) of the vehicle is accented with a chrome strip. The vehicle has dark-tinted windows, a broken front driver’s side window, and damage to right front tire and rim from striking a curb and the small block wall.
Police say the suspect is a regular at the bar and may go by the name “Bishop.”
