Rap metaphors aside, a guy got busted with about 17 pounds of crystal meth hidden in the bumper of his car.
DPS officers stopped 20-year-old Jose Martinez Perez as he was driving east on Interstate 10 in a 2007 Chevy Malibu for a routine traffic violation.
Martinez Perez allowed officers to search the inside of the car, where they found nothing. But a canine search of the outside of the vehicle revealed that the car possessed something a drug dog might find interesting.

DPS officers basically took the front end of the car apart and found 17 pounds of meth crammed into its bumper.
The estimated street value for the meth is about $323,000, the DPS claims.
Martinez Perez was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County jail on charges of possession and transportation of dangerous drugs for sale.
