David Palacios “El Gatillero,” one of Phoenix’s favorite Spanish-language radio personalities, is celebrating his 13-year anniversary of being on the Valley’s airwaves.

“El” Gatillero” has been entertaining the Hispanic community in Phoenix on La Nueva 105.9, which airs from Monday through Friday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

He’s marking the event with a special concert tonight for listeners, hosting Ramon Ayala at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Mesa.

It’s not just music that El Gatillero uses to entertain his listeners. He’s also helped lead marches for immigration reform and interviewed celebrities such as Don King to Univision’s own Jorge Ramos.

The radio station has been giving away free tickets to listeners 21 and over on air and at several street promotions through event sponsors Coors Light and QuikTrip convenience stores.

Or, tickets are available at the door for $10.

Check it out tonight at Tobey Keith’s food stop, 1065 N. Dobson Road. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.
