Lincoln Knight, a clerk at a PLS Pay Day Loan Store near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road, apparently didn’t get the memo.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, Knight conspired with her boyfriend, Jeremy Parker and his mother Simone Parker, to stage an armed robbery at the store where Knight works.
The payoff: $37,000.

Phoenix police got a call about 4:30 a.m. Sunday about a robbery at the loan store. When they arrived on the scene, they found Knight — and she was acting strange.
Phoenix Sergeant Trent Crump says Knight made several attempts to leave the store during the investigation, and lied about her address to officers.
After a little probing, Knight came clean.
She told police she had conspired with Parker and his mother to rob the store. She said Simone Parker acted as the getaway driver as her son robbed the store.
All three suspects were arrested and admitted to concocting the plan. Each were booked for armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and theft.
