Geraldo Rivera reminded us yesterday that he’s still alive, after telling conspiracy-theorist Lord Christopher Monckton that he and the rest of the “birthers” are “all smoking crack together.”
Monckton, not surprisingly, was just in Surprise on Monday to talk to the “Surprise Tea Party Patriots,” with donations going to Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse.
Monckton, another individual who denies being a “birther,” told Rivera there are “clear irregularities in the document,” that document, of course, being President Obama’s birth certificate.
While Monckton was talking up “birther”-ism and Arpaio, the guest from the left chimed in — Adam Peck from Think Progress — saying the “notion that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is one of the United States’ preeminent sheriffs is like saying Chef Boyardee is one of the nation’s preeminent cooks.”
