Conservative crybaby Glenn Beck was at it again today, bashing Senate hopeful J.D. Hayworth on his radio program for his appearance as a pitchman for a now-bankrupt company that offered tutorials on how to get your hands on “free government money.”
“He could sell tiny classified ads out of his one-bedroom apartment. He could try that,” Beck’s producer Pat Gray said of Hayworth at the end of a nearly eight-minute verbal beat down.

Hayworth originally defended his role as a hype-man by saying, “I’m a broadcaster, and yeah, I appeared in this, and yes, it was a job. And that’s that.”
He has since changed his tune.
“As a former broadcaster, I would often make ads for clients, but I regret my association with this firm,” Hayworth said in a statement last week. “In fact, I demanded that they immediately cease and desist all use of my name and image when it was brought to my attention that they were violating the conditions of our original agreement.”
Last week, Beck also spent about eight minutes bashing Hayworth during a segment where he went so far as to officially declare Hayworth’s candidacy over.
Beck may be right — the latest poll numbers show that Hayworth’s opponent in the GOP Senate primary, Senator John McCain, now leads Hayworth by 23 points and has passed Scott Rasmussen’s dreaded, vulnerability hump of 50 percent of the vote
