By all appearances, that is a photo of the Sheriff of Maricopa County in a bowling alley, wearing some sort of floral-print shirt, and standing next to a guy in a dog suit.
Fresh off giving testimony in the racial-profiling trial against him and his office, Arpaio was doing whatever it is that’s pictured above, apparently some sort of event that benefits the MCSO Animal Safe Haven — which qualifies him for another appearance in New Times’ You Write the Caption contest.
