The man with the most rushing yards in all of major college football this year shoved his pregnant ex-girlfriend to the ground and was “threatening [her] pregnancy” last month, according to that ex-girlfriend.
Reports out of Tucson state that University of Arizona running back Ka’Deem Carey is going to be charged in the alleged domestic-violence incident this week, and the nature of the charges is described in an order-of-protection against Carey, which we’ve obtained.
It’s brief, but Carey’s ex-girlfriend, Marissa Rambow, wrote in the order of protection that on December 23, Carey insisted on smoking an “illegal substance” in her home, and she refused to help him do that.
“I asked him multiple times to leave the room and he refused, pushed/shoved way in and knocked me to the floor,” she wrote. “Threatening my pregnancy and myself. Slammed my fingers in the door…”

Police told the Arizona Daily Star that charges will be filed against Carey this week.
Carey — who also went to Canyon del Oro High School in Oro Valley — ran for 1,929 yards and 23 touchdowns this year, as a sophomore.
