If you’re a pederass, who has kiddy-porn saved on your computer, taking your computer to a mall to be repaired may be one of the stupidest things you can do. That being said, a Scottsdale man did exactly that this week and as a result, was arrested.

Scottsdale police say that 29-year-old Phillip Blaine was having some trouble with his computer, so he took it to the Microsoft Store at Fashion Square in Scottsdale.

As technicians were working on the computer, they discovered more than just a virus — they found a collection images of child pornography.

The technicians called police, who dug deeper into the kiddy-porn treasure chest and found that as well as having pictures, Blaine also had several videos of children, who police determined were under the age of 15, conducting sexual acts.

On Tuesday, police contacted Blaine, who admitted to searching for, viewing, and downloading the images and videos, and placed him under arrest.

The children in the videos were not identified.

Blaine has been charged with several counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and was taken to the 4th Avenue Jail.
