It was Chad George’s party, and he’ll cry hit you in the head with a bat if he wants to.

The 22-year-old George hosted a party at his Maricopa home over the weekend that ended when police say he hit one of his guests in the head with an aluminum baseball bat.

Cops responded to reports of a fight in the 3000 block of West Elizabeth Street in Maricopa early Sunday morning. They found an unidentified, unresponsive victim at the house with several injuries to his head.

Witnesses at the party say George and the victim started arguing when a woman tried to intervene.

Bad call.

The woman’s intervening seems to have escalated the altercation from verbal to physical — with the woman getting inadvertently hit during the scuffle.

The two men continued to duke it out when George grabbed his bat and repeatedly cracked the victim in the chest and head.

The unidentified victim went down hard and was taken to Maricopa County Medical Center in Phoenix with life-threatening injuries.
