Two members of the Arizona State University wrestling team face disorderly conduct charges for attacking a man during the university’s annual “undie run” earlier this month.
Both of the wrestlers, junior Te Edwards, and freshman Carlos Castro, claim the attack was self defense, despite Edwards’ sucker-punching the potential victim when he wasn’t looking.

ASU police Commander James Hardina tells New Times that the most serious crime with which the wrestlers can be charged is disorderly conduct because police haven’t been able to identify the victim. Without the mystery victim’s side of the story, police have no way to dispute the wrestlers’ claim that their actions were self defense.
Judging by the video, the two men don’t seem to do much to remove themselves from the situation, so their claim that they were defending themselves doesn’t seem to add up.
