Phoenix’s First Lady Nicole Stanton, a staunch anti-bullying advocate, is going to be part of a panel on October 16 to raise awareness among parents about recognizing the warning signs of bullying, and discussing the issue with their children.
The free event, The Warning Signs of Bullying, is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Arizona Science Center. The evening begins with a reception, followed by training for parents, a panel discussion with questions welcome from the audience in the Center’s IMAX Theater.
Other panelists R. Bradley Snyder, Author of “5 Simple Truths of Raising Kids”, Jean Ajamie, from the Arizona Department of Education’s Office of School Safety and Prevention and Kelly Marley-Smith, a Clinical Supervisor at Cenpatico Schools.
