The Phoenix Police Department is asking the public’s help in tracking down the person who stabbed a man to death yesterday morning.
Sergeant Steve Martos of the Phoenix PD tells New Times that, just before noon, cops responded to a call saying someone was hurt at 8822 North 1st Street in Phoenix.
When they got to the scene, officers saw a man in front of the apartment building with stab wounds on his body.
The victim, 33-year-old Jelic Davor, was getting medical attention from his ex-girlfriend and her son when emergency crews arrived.

Davor was still alive when the ambulance got to the scene but died later at a nearby hospital.
Martos says several people were interviewed at the scene, but nobody’s been taken into custody.
Martos wouldn’t say whether the ex-girlfriend or her son were present when Davor was stabbed.
Martos also wouldn’t say whether Davor was able to identify the person who stabbed him before he died.
Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department.
