Phoenix police are on the lookout for one of the more-gullible attempted bank robbers of all time.
Cops say just after noon on February 14, a man went into a bank near 16th Street and Camelback Road demanding cash from a teller.
The teller said they didn’t have any cash, so he demanded it again.
Still with no cash, the man ran away from the bank empty-handed.

If he truly believed the bank had no money, he’s probably the type of person who could try robbing a McDonald’s before they told him they didn’t have Big Macs, and leave hungry.
Either way, Silent Witness is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to this goon’s arrest.
Police describe the man as being Hispanic or Native American, 20-25 years old, 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-7, between 130 and 150 pounds.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black baseball hat, a black hooded jacket, and black denim pants.
No weapon or vehicle was ever seen by witnesses.
