Peoria police are looking for the person or persons responsible for robbing the home of a Peoria family. On the list of missing items: The ashes of the family’s dead son.
Lindsay Grannis, the child’s mother, says when she came home yesterday afternoon, her garage door was wide open. When she went into her house, the place was cleaned out.
The thief took your standard items — televisions, jewelry, electronics — but also took a small music box from a cabinet inside the home.
The box contained the remains of Grannis dead 5-month-old son Tyler.

Grannis tells CBS 5 (KPHO) that the box has no real value to anyone but her family and pleads with the thief to return the remains.
Grannis says if the robber returns the remains to the Peoria police, the person can keep the rest of the loot. We’ll see what the Peoria police have to say about that.
