A 29-year-old man from Scottsdale was found dead last night in the bathroom of a bus bound for Boston, but authorities don’t suspect foul pay.

The man, whose name hasn’t been released, boarded the Boston Express bus in Londenderry, New Hampshire, about 50 miles north of Boston.

He entered the bathroom “early in the trip” and was still in there when the bus pulled into South Station at about 9 p.m., according to a statement by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office.

Transit personnel forced open the door and found the man inside; emergency workers declared him dead at the scene.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how long he’d been in the area or what he was doing there, but so far the death is “being investigated as a non-homicide,” says Jake Wark, spokesman for the DA’s office. “Beyond that, we won’t get anymore specific. This does not seem to be criminal in nature.”

We’ll update this story if more info comes in.
