A jury found Jodi Arias guilty of first-degree murder yesterday for killing Travis Alexander at his Mesa home in 2008.
Arias’ conviction means she could be sentenced to death for her crime.

Now, the trial goes into the “aggravation” phase, in which the jury decides if Arias’ killing of Alexander — complete with cutting his throat, shooting him in the head, and stabbing him a couple dozen times — was heinous, cruel, and depraved.
