Phoenix police have made an arrest in the case of a man murdered yesterday at a party at a west Phoenix apartment complex.
Anthony Granado, 21, was arrested yesterday afternoon after witnesses at the party identified him as the person who shot and killed 29-year-old Haki Miggins.
According to police, Granado and Miggins were at a party early yesterday morning at an apartment complex near 35th and Dunlap avenues in Phoenix.
At about 4 a.m., police got a call that gunshots were heard in the area. When they arrived on the scene, they found Miggins dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Witnesses told investigators the two were involved in an argument at the party that turned into a fight.
Granado, police say, grabbed a gun and shot Miggins.
Granado left the party, but witnesses were able to help police identify him as the shooter.
Police placed Granado under surveillance and arrested him as he left a home on West Solano Drive in Phoenix yesterday afternoon.
Once in custody, Granado, police say, admitted to the shooting.
