Tempe Music Festival may be over, but the stories keep coming.

First and foremost, check out our Q&A with Cris Kirkwood of the Meat Puppets on Up on the Sun. The man has some progressive thoughts about marketing: “You know, marketing. It’s just like, what the fuck.”

The festival’s theme this year was “more than music.” Just because the extracurricular activities at the music festival were be over-shadowed by Fergie’s lovely ladie lumps, doesn’t mean we didn’t get the scoop on them. Non-musical entertainment included a giant half pipe for all the skater boys in attendance and a sponsored by Dilliard’s. That’s right. Department stores are making a huge come back.
