Pedestrians are on the rise. With the light rail and the green movement, it’s trendy. So, join a big old crew of bicycle enthusiasts at the Great Bike Chase. The 4.3-mile ride starts at Margaret T. Hance Park, where folks can register ($30 each person, cash only, exact change) and enjoy free bike-safety checks, prize drawings, and face painting for the little ones. After all of that, the group will mount their bikes and ride to Chase Field, 401 East Jefferson Street, to watch the D-backs and the Philadelphia Phillies duke it out starting at 1:10 p.m.
