In 2001, MCs Very and Scarub, staples of the L.A. underground hip-hop scene, released their first album under the AC moniker. Then nothing for nearly a decade (though the two have been way busy on their respective solo projects).

Now the Classics are back with the aptly titled The Classic EP. Previewable at www.legendarymusic.net/afroclassics, the duo is representing the rap game, 2009 style, but with an improved, older-school sensibility, complete with beat-driven tunes and cuss-less hooks wrapped in positivity.
