This season, Chris Bosh has proven that it’s not impossible for a guy who’s made five NBA All-Star teams in the last five seasons to become an afterthought. By signing with the Miami Heat last summer, Bosh – arguably one of the league’s top 15 players – managed to find the one squad where he’d end up playing third fiddle.
As is, it’s almost easy to forget that Bosh plays for the Heat. With all of the headlines about LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, it seems as if Bosh only gets singled out when he plays poorly.
James and Wade may own Miami’s spotlight, but it’s a safe bet that Bosh will have the Phoenix Suns’ attention. When the Heat hosted the Suns earlier this season, Bosh exploded for 35 points and Miami cruised to a 123-96 victory. Maybe if Bosh has another game like, the power-forward will make the Miami front pages.
